Hello everyone, Futsal time is right around the corner!!

The Ultimate Futsal Champions League (UFCL) will begin on January 5 th and run through February 23rd. I am advising people to sign up as soon as possible in order to assist us in developing the most beneficial and competitive leagues possible. There has been a lot of interest, so don’t take a “wait and see” approach. If you have an interest, I would strongly suggest you register your team soon. Our goal is to insure that your team receives quality teams and matches. It should be another great season!!!

The UFCL will consist of 8 games and the entry fee will be $449 per team. We will notify all registered teams the week prior to the payment deadline about the number of teams in your division. At that time, you will be able to decide if you would like to play this season or withdraw. Once again, we feel that this season will fill up fast. If for some reason we don’t complete a bracket, the withdraw option will be available. There are no penalties for withdrawing your team prior to the deadline. Again, I would like to make clear that I anticipate having a full session.

PARENTS AND COACHES:

Any one may form their own team. You can sign up with your current soccer team or recruit your own Futsal squad. All players on your team must be age

appropriate for your division.

One weekly futsal match during the 6 or 8 week season.

Will use portable futsal goals.

Ultimate Performance Complex 2012 - 2013 Futsal Leagues

What: Futsal is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper. Unlike

some other forms of indoor soccer, the game is played on a hard court without the use of walls or boards.

Futsal is also played with a smaller ball with less bounce than a regular soccer ball. The surface, ball and

rules create an emphasis on improvisation, creativity and technique as well as ball control and passing in

small spaces.

Where: The Ultimate Performance Complex (56th and Garnett, behind Kraftt Gymnastics)

When: UFCL games will begin on Jan. 5th. Game days will be on

Saturdays and Sundays with a possibility of week night games for overflow.

Application Deadline:  UFCL: January 2nd

Cost:  UFCL: $449

League fee must be paid in full prior to team’s first game.
